About Me

My name is Brandon Zickefoose and I am an entertainer. I’m a performer in many regards and I enjoy the effort that is put into creating a great show that captivates the audience and leaves them feeling satisfied, with full feeling. I am a fighter. I have been underestimated all of my life by those around me and those who claim to love me. I perform for myself and for the love of my craft. Most of all, I perform for those who are in the distance, watching and hoping that someone will inspire them to believe in themselves and become who they truly are, as someone once had inspired me to become an even further developed version of myself.

It was not always determined that I would be a performer. In fact, it was never something that I found easy to say. Sometimes, I still don’t. I began working with music when I was in elementary school. However, I don’t have an incredible story of how I was a musical protégé. In fact, I rarely studied music until I became a member of the band in junior high. I began learning about the percussion instruments, as I had enjoyed the drums. From there, I began creating my own music, writing for the drumline that was playing in my head. In high school, I became a member of the marching band, show choir, and all state choir. I studied music theory and enrolled in college to become a music educator. I still couldn’t shake the feeling of wanting to perform for a stadium full of fans every night.

I found my calling when I started working with music production software, now realizing that I could create my own songs and backing tracks on my own and without the expense of a studio. I didn’t have a lot of money. The passion that I have for creating songs out of stories is an incredible element and component to my personality and to who I am. Without songs, I wouldn’t have an outlet of expression. I never understood that phrase before. I had never been able to understand what they had meant in saying that. I love being a performer and I love who I am. I just hope that I’m able to showcase my desire for telling great stories as much as any other artist would. I hope that I’m able to give them the show that they want.
